To a Safe Halloween

Halloween is indeed a night of fun and fright. But we only want scares from spooky ghosts and not from injuries nor from hospital bills. So here are some tips to help you have a fun yet safe Fright Night;

1.) Prevent Skin Irritation
When attending a party or doing a trick-or-treat, putting up make-up or face paint would really spice up your Halloween experience. But you should first test the face paint or the make-up before applying and be sure to wash your faces before bed to avoid unwanted skin irritations.

2.) Find the Right Fit
Wearing a short tight dress is basically fine if you could manage wearing it. You wouldn’t probably enjoy the night if you get conscious with your costume all the time. Remember to always choose comfort over style 😉

3.) Avoid Colored Contacts
Wearing contact lenses must involve a professional. Your eyes has a unique curvature and one contact lense does not fit all which is why packages claiming “one size fits all” should not be used. An improperly fitted lense may cause eye damage, cornea scratches or even permanent blimdness.

4.) Check the Candy You Received
At night, when sorting the candies you’ve collected, be sure to throw away those candies that looked like have been opened already and those that are not in their packaging. Also check for the ingredients that may trigger your allergies.

5.) Wear Reflective Clothing
Keep yourselves visible by wearing  glow-in-the-dark necklaces or bracelets if in case you’re wearing an all black costume. You can also put reflective strips on your costume to add a factor of safety when crossing the roads at night.

6.) Keep Your Own Home Safe
You don’t want to see kids tripping and falling to your walkway or lawn so remove anything that will cause them to. Make sure to turn on the lights outside of your houses and also keep your pets away because they might scare the children no matter how safe they look to you.
